SWAC Best Practice Meetings

The SWAC Project Lead runs several Best Practice Meetings for practitioners in member adoption agencies every 2 months. There are separate meetings for recruitment and assessment workers, those working in adoption support, family finders, panel administrators, intermediary and access to adoption records workers, panel chairs, panel advisers, and those supporting birth relatives.

The meetings are held virtually and provide safe reflective spaces for practitioners in similar roles in different adoption agencies across the South West to discuss common issues, and to share good practices and dilemmas.

SWAC Operational Management Board

For service managers and team managers. The first part of the meeting is relevant to all managers working in adoption, with the final part of the meeting focusing on a particular practice area.
