Join our Dads Social at The Park<\/a><\/u>! This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other parents, make new connections, and have some food together in a safe and supportive space. This group is open to all adopters from CCS Adoption<\/a><\/u>, Adoption West<\/a><\/u> and other agencies. The session will be facilitated by Becky Hosken from CCS Adoption.<\/p>\n

About Becky<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Some of you may recognise me from my role in the Advice Team or from helping at the Summer Holiday Hub, but I\u2019m really excited to introduce myself as the facilitator of the Mums and Dads Social. The group really belongs to you, its members. This is a place for making friends and connections and for having fun together. So, if you\u2019ve been before or it\u2019s your first time attending, I\u2019m really looking forward to getting to know you all and what better way for you to get to know me than by me sharing a little bit about myself? I have worked with CCS since 2021 and am also an adoptive parent to two children. I have a daughter who is 12 and a son who is 10 years old. My husband and I adopted through our local authority, and we were fortunate that both of our children attend Tots Group, so I have had the pleasure of being in the CCS community for the last 10 years. I love reading, my favourite song is “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone, being by the sea is my favourite place, and I\u2019ve recently taken up open water swimming. I look forward to meeting you all very soon!”<\/p>\n
