Adoption Sunday interviews with CCS adopters
Last Sunday 5th November was Adoption Sunday and across the country churches were asked to consider both the children who wait for adoption and the adoptive families in church communities and how they might be supported. Two CCS adopters, along with Team Manager Emma Simpson spoke to BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Radio Gloucestershire about Adoption and the part that faith has played in this.
CCS Adoption has been helping make families through adoption for over 110 years. Originally connected and supported by the Catholic Church, the organisation is no longer directly connected to the church but is very welcoming to people of all faiths and wants to encourage those who are considering adoption to get in touch.
Listen to the interviews on BBC Radio Bristol at 1:04 and 2:08 and on BBC Radio Gloucestershire at 2:11:00 and 2:43:49
