Wild ‘n’ Free 2020 – Forest School fun for CCS families
CCS parents and children are invited to join us for an experience of wild exploration and woodland adventure.
Where? Leigh Court Farm Woodland, Abbots Leigh, Bristol
When? Sunday 22nd November 2020
Who is it for? This event is only for adoptive families who were approved by CCS.**
(please arrive by 10.15am) session runs from 10.30 to 1.15pm
This is a stress-free, camping style experience designed around the needs of the group with a focus on shared time together. The safety of all attendees is our paramount concern and Bristol Forest School have a thorough risk assessment in place, taking account of most recent Government advice on Covid 19 during Lockdown. Whilst this session will look a little different to previous ones, we are still planning on fun and relaxation too! Leigh Court is a private and peaceful woodland (not to be confused with Leigh Woods). We will spend the morning together in this lovely environment playing, exploring and learning new woodland skills.
We’ll top off our gathering with a cosy campfire and lunch together; please bring your own food and drinks. The morning will be led by Hannah, Henry and James from Bristol Forest School.
*NB; booking is required one week in advance of date and places go fast particularly given the reduced numbers owing to Covid so please get in touch asap. On booking we will email you more details re directions/parking at the woodland. We need your mob number, names and ages of your child/ren. Thanks – we look forward to welcoming you to the woods soon.
**Unfortunately we have to limit numbers attending to those families who have been approved through CCS adoption. Should you wish to attend a different event (not organised via CCS) please contact Bristol forest school direct; email@example.com
