Giving Tuesday 30.11.21
You’ve heard about #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday, but what about #GivingTuesday?
CCS Adoption is participating in this international day of giving. We are looking to raise as much money as possible to help fund the vital Adoption Support services we run here.
With the demand for charity funding rising due to the pandemic, many large funders have decided to concentrate on supporting front-line services like health support and food networks. As a result, CCS has struggled to secure the necessary funding we urgently need to sustain our Adoption Support services and continue supporting adopted children and their families.
Will you help protect our adoption support services by making a one-off or regular donation this #GivingTuesday?
Why are our Adoption Support Services so important?
“A wonderful safe, fun and happy place where my children and I could completely feel at home” – Adoptive parent
The majority of adopted children have experienced neglect and abuse. All have experienced the traumatic loss of their birth family and spent time in the care system, in most cases before they are 4 years old. The effects of early-life trauma are profound and long-lasting, affecting children’s development and well-being, and the chances of an adoption succeeding. With the right support, recovery is possible, giving every adoption the best chance of success.
“The staff are so committed to the families that attend, their love and care for not only the children but for us as parents is second to none” – Adoptive parent
Through CCS Adoption Support, we provide a range of services designed to support children’s recovery from trauma, build stronger, more resilient adoptive families, and improve life chances for adopted children. Our Adoption Support services are available to all adoptive families in Bristol and the South West.
“CCS Adoption has been amazing for the children and me… no one understands like the staff and other parents at CCS. It has been lovely to see the confidence of our children grow” – Adoptive parent
