Thanks to the Postcode Community Trust

Huge thanks to the Postcode Community Trust who awarded us £5936 to provide a year-long programme of peer support groups and specialist training to adoptive parents.

Thanks to their support we will be able to offer the following activities in 2018/19:

— Support groups for adoptive mums

— Support groups for adoptive dads

— Single Adopters’ Afternoon Teas

— LGBTQ+ Coffee mornings

— Workshops and training on a range of adoption issues

As a charity, we rely on fundraising to provide vital services and support to families who have adopted. With the support of the Postcode Community Trust, we will be able to help our adopters develop skills, understanding and confidence in caring for their child, as well as facilitate opportunities for peer-to-peer support.

Postcode Community Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. Our project received £5936 to provide support groups and training to adoptive parents.
