  • Beacon House, therapeutic services and trauma team – resources on trauma and education.
  • Adoption UK is a national membership charity providing support, community and advocacy for all those parenting or supporting children who cannot live with their birth parents.
  • Inner World Work is an online parent and carer-free support resource centre for children, parents and carers who have experienced trauma.
  • Education Otherwise is a charity which supports and provides information to home-educating families in England and Wales.
  • Emma Spillane runs a local attachment and trauma training and consultancy service for schools.

Prospective Adopters

  • YouCanAdopt is a site produced to accompany a national recruitment campaign for more adopters. Interesting podcasts and video clips from those who have adopted.

  • First4Adoption is the national adoption information service for England. The website is a great starting point for those considering adoption.

The Bristol Zoo Project and We The Curious Passes are available to book for CCS Adoption families only (maximum of 2 adults and 3 children) for a suggested donation of £20.

  • To book, please contact us in advance during our office hours at activities@ccsadoption.org / 0117 935 0005, indicating the date and arrival time options and the number of adults/children the pass is required for.
  • Please make payment via our Donation page and under the ‘Reason for your donation’, please add ‘Bristol Zoo Pass’ or ‘We The Curious Pass’.

 

* The booking reference will be sent to you by email, so you don’t have to pick up an actual ticket from the office. * The donation goes towards the yearly renewal of the pass so we can offer this again each year.
