About the role
An exciting opportunity for an Adoption Social Worker to join our Social Work service. The post is based in our Bristol office (including working at home opportunities through our Hybrid Working Policy), covering Wiltshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Bath, Bristol, Swindon and South Wales.
The post-holder will be a qualified Social Worker, preferably with adoption experience, who will be undertaking adoption assessment and making and supporting placements, as well as contributing to all aspects of the adoption service. This will include recruitment activities, family finding, post-adoption support and assisting with training.
Opportunity for creativity and innovative practice is encouraged and welcomed.

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families? CCS Adoption is seeking a dynamic and committed Chair of Trustees to lead our Board and help us drive our ambitions forward.
The Role
As Chair of Trustees, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of CCS Adoption, ensuring we remain financially stable, legally compliant, and true to our mission. You’ll work closely with the CEO and lead board meetings, monitor performance, and act as a key ambassador for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Board in setting strategic goals and evaluating performance
- Ensure compliance with charity and company law
- Safeguard the organisation’s values, reputation, and resources
- Support and appraise the CEO
- Facilitate effective governance and decision-making
- Represent CCS Adoption at public functions

Associate Therapists
We are currently interested in hearing from clinicians with training in Theraplay® and experience working with adopted children, families, and trauma in an attachment-based setting. In addition to Theraplay®, we also continue to be interested in hearing specifically from clinicians with knowledge of DDP, NVR and Life Journey work.
