CCS Adoption is a Voluntary Adoption Agency and a Children’s Charity. We find permanent, loving families for children who need them when they can no longer safely live with their birth family. CCS Adoption is particularly proud of our “Outstanding” rating from Ofsted, evidencing the quality of our work and the passion the staff has for supporting our families. Adoption Support
CCS families benefit from our unique therapeutic team and a wide range of activities and social events through our Adoption Support Services. We promise and deliver to our families lifelong support. Our dedicated team of experienced Social Workers and Social Work Assistants have worked with families over the years on lots of issues – transition to secondary school, life story work, meeting up with birth family etc. You won’t be alone in supporting your child.
Our Work
We are a specialist, not-for-profit adoption agency providing the same adoption assessment service as Regional Adoption Agencies under the adoption regulations although we offer an additional worker to support you in the first part of the assessment. We work with Regional Adoption Agencies and Local Authorities across the whole of the UK to find families for children in foster care who have plans for adoption. We also have the added benefit of extra post-adoption support services, because as a charity we can fundraise for this, and we know that all adoption families will need extra support at different times.
We work with families that live across the South West, including Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. Our committed, friendly and professional team have lots of experience working with adopters and adopted children and young people. As a small team, you will get to really know the staff and they will be able to support you all the way through your personal adoption journey.
