Adoption Panel Members

CCS is interested in hearing from volunteers to join our Adoption Panel who have experience, either professionally or personally or both, of placement of children in adoptive and foster families or of children being cared for away from their birth family. Equality and Diversity are important to CCS and we encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We particularly encourage applications from BAME & LGBTQIA+ communities with lived experience of adoption and from Therapeutic/post-adoption support professionals and qualified and registered social workers.

Associate Therapists

We are currently interested in hearing from clinicians with training in Theraplay® and experience working with adopted children and families, and trauma, in an attachment-based setting. In addition to Theraplay®, we also continue to be interested in hearing from clinicians with knowledge of DDP, NVR, Life Journey work, Filial Play Therapy, EMDR, VIG, and/ or other creative therapies.
