Double Your Impact: Supporting the Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing of Adopted Children and Young People

Growing up can be complicated for any young person. For adopted children and young people, the impact of early experiences, trauma and loss can add another layer to the challenges they face.

At CCS Adoption, we see how important it is for young people to have the right support around them when things are difficult. It might be someone who understands adoption to talk to, therapeutic support, help for parents, or simply opportunities to spend time with other adopted young people who understand some of their experiences.

This autumn, we have a fantastic opportunity to raise more money to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of adopted children and young people.

Thanks to the generosity of one of our supporters, we have £4,481 in match funding available.

That means that for every £1 you donate, another £1 can be added

— £10 could become £20

— £25 could become £50

— £50 could become £100

But we need your help to unlock it.

Our ambition is to raise enough from individual donations to match the full amount available. If we do, together we could turn £4,481 into more than £8,962 for CCS Adoption.

We know that many of you already support CCS in so many different ways, and there is absolutely no expectation to give. But if you are able to make a donation, however small, between now and 30 November, this is a wonderful opportunity to make it go twice as far.

And if donating isn’t possible, sharing the appeal with friends or family would mean a great deal too.
