Family & Friends

This training gives family and friends an insight into the impact that trauma and insecure attachments can have on a vulnerable child. We consider children’s identities, experiences, losses and needs, and therefore how crucial therapeutic parenting is. We help prepare family and friends for their first meeting with their new family member, manage expectations and broaden understanding of the support required for all.
