Black Lives Matter – Writing Competition
Miles was Bristol’s First Poet Laureate and the judge of our first Writing Competition last year. Thanks again to everyone for the fantastic poems and writing contributions we received. Miles gave some great individual feedback to each young person.
During Lockdown, we thought it would be a good idea for any young writers to send in a poem, song or rap, or any piece of writing to different prompts.
We have already had some great poems for our first writing topic of Lockdown/ What makes up my day, as you can see we have published some of these on the CCS website. Any more welcome, there is no time limit.
Our next topic will be “Black Lives Matter”.
Please send your submissions to amanda.alston@ccsadoption.org (who ran the Writing Workshop and competition last summer) via your parents’ e-mails and Amanda will give you feedback, with the chance of your writing being published on the CCS website. All writers of any age and any level of experience are very welcome.
