Lockdown Writing – S.H.

Lockdown Writing – S.H.

We asked young writers to send us a poem, song, rap or any short piece of writing in response to either “Lockdown” or “What makes up my day”.

Social distancing

“It must keep on going

We must be apart

But people we love

Are kept in our hearts.

We cannot come close

To hug or to kiss

But we must remember

It won’t always be like this.

It keeps people safe

To stay 2 metres away

From all other people

Every single day.

It must keep on going

In sunshine and rain

But one day we will

Be together again.”
